Pasta La Vista is competing in the Dunga Run Spring 2026, 21–28 November 2026 (7 days, 7 nights), a charity road rally of 2,600 km across New Zealand's North Island, starting at Orewa Beach Holiday Park, Orewa, Auckland, New Zealand.

## Their story

The Roman Chariot: A 1998 Alfa Romeo 156 (Twin spark even!) (held together by prayer and parmesan)
We’re taking this 1998 Alfa Romeo 156 on a 2,500km 'Dunga Run' across NZ. Why? Because we want to support families going through the unthinkable by raising funds for the Time Out Charity
Will the timing belt hold? Will the electronics survive a light drizzle? Will we still be speaking to each other by Raglan? Who knows! But as they say in Italy: Pasta La Vista, Baby. (We’ll be back... eventually. Likely on the back of a tow truck.)"  We’re driving 2,500km for the Dunga Run to help families facing terminal illness get a much-needed break in holiday homes. We’re trading our dignity and a functioning gearbox for a great cause. We have invested $1750 which is almost no Euro’s right now but we have Brio and Hope. We’ve spent less than $2,000 on this Italian masterpiece, which means we have exactly $0 left for a backup plan.
They say Alfas have 'soul.' Usually, that soul leaves the car somewhere around the Desert Road.
Our Goal is to raise funds so many many “of the Familia” can have a week away at a critical time and experience some great time together. We will tow this Grigio Red Pasta Rocket ourselves if we have to so we can make this happen!
