The Remarkable Rattler is competing in the Dunga Run Spring 2026, 21–28 November 2026 (7 days, 7 nights), a charity road rally of 2,600 km across New Zealand's North Island, starting at Orewa Beach Holiday Park, Orewa, Auckland, New Zealand.

We're driving to support Doug and the incredible TimeOut team, helping families facing terminal illness create their own remarkable, lasting memories together

## Their story

Chris and Guy are neighbours who both live in the shadow of the Remarkable mountain range in Queenstown.

The pair originally met while participating in the NZ Porsche Racing series. Guy’s race results were not very remarkable, but Chris did finally pull off a remarkable series win in the 2026 season!

They say you are not a true petrolhead until you have owned an Alfa Romeo, so this is a great way to finally tick that box and support a truly remarkable charity at the same time.

We have both known Doug and the TimeOut Charity for many years and have enjoyed many of his remarkably well-organised road tours. So, if this Alfa actually makes it to the finish line, it won't just be remarkable, it will be a miracle!
